Do not upgrade to 3.1.2 if you need unlock support.

Simply update through iTunes to 3.1.2 then download this blackra1n.exe application.

The fallowing list is the iPod Touch Firmware Update Files version 3.1.2 for the iPod Touch first, second, and third generation.

iPod2,1_3.1.2_7D11_Restore.ipsw (iPod Touch 2G)
iPod3,1_3.1.2_7D11_Restore.ipsw (iPod Touch 3G)

  1. Run the blackra1n (Run as administrator), click on make it ra1n and wait for reboot.

there is no 3.2 right now. fix this. 3.2 is a major release, 3.1.2 is a minor release to the 3.1 major release.

you should know how version numbers work if you’re going to run a “tech” blog.

Corrected the topic, simple typo. It’s not a tech blog, it’s a personal blog… usually contains personal things of interest to me.
