SSH/USB to your iPhone or iPod Touch

To SSH to your iPhone or iPod Touch thorugh Wi-Fi, you need to have OpenSSH installed on your device through Cydia. You also need WinSCP installed on your desktop.wifi

  1. Launch WinSCP
  2. Specify IP address of your device into Host name (You will find the IP address, if you go to your device’s menu; Settings > Wi-Fi, then choose the network you are using).
  3. Use root as your User name.
  4. Use alpine as your Password.
  5. Click Login.

To SSH to your iPhone or iPod Touch through USB, you need to have afc2add installed on your device through Cydia. You also need i-FunBox installed on your desktop.

  1. Launch iFunBox.exe
  2. Wait for your device to detected, and that’s it.
